Dallas Browlift/ Forehead Lift Surgery

This is what happens when the skin of the upper eyelids sag to the point that the eyelashes and eyebrows meet. When sagging is this bad the wrinkles in the forehead can also have a corrugated look. Generally it is considered a cosmetic procedure that smooths out wrinkles and creases on the forehead and between the eyes.

A brow lift is performed by a qualified professional plastic surgeon who makes an incision from ear to ear across the crown of the head. The surgeon then careful lifts the skin of the brow and removes some of the underlying muscle tissue. The skin is pulled back to pull up the slack and extra skin is trimmed. The incision is then closed with metal clips or stitches. The entire procedure lasts about one to two hours. It is usually performed on an outpatient basis with general anesthesia.
