Dallas Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Individuals who are bothered by sagging upper eyelids can benefit from a blepharoplasty also known as eyelid surgery. Redundant eyelid skin can make one look older, tired or sad.

Upper eyelid skin droop when it loses it's elasticity and suppleness. This causes the skin to loose support. The blepharoplasty surgery is done by making an incision in the crease of the eyelid to remove excess skin. Scars are hidden in the crease of the eyelid. Assessments an evaluation of the patient’s brow, forehead position and condition of the skin.

The operation may be done in conjunction with a forehead lift to make a person look younger. A forehead lift, which is done through an incision at the hairline, is also sometimes used to help lift sagging skin from the eyelids.
