Plastic Surgery Financing
How do I pay for my plastic surgery procedures?
When you look at the costs or fees associated with plastic surgery, one of the first questions that comes to mind is: "How will I pay for my procedure?"
First of all, it is important to understand the costs associated with plastic surgery. You, as the patient, are responsible for all charges. In general, you will be responsible for fees that include:
- Surgeon
- Anesthesia
- Surgical facility
- Medications and other supplies
- Laboratory tests
- Nursing or after care, if needed
- Overnight stay, if needed
A deposit is required in order to schedule your surgery, and the balance is due before the procedure takes place.
It is important that you are clear about all fees and dates of payment well in advance of any procedure so that you can plan ahead.
For your convenience, there are numerous options for paying for your surgery or procedure.
You can pay with cash, personal check, credit card or from a loan.
1. Cash (or personal check)
Cash (or personal check) may be your choice to pay for the fees associated with your plastic surgery procedure when savings have been put aside expressly for this purpose.
2. Credit Cards
Credit Cards maybe used as a form of payment for any of our plastic surgery procedures. For your convenience, we accept Visa, Discover, MasterCard, and American Express. However, please be advised that credit cards, while highly convenient; may carry high interest rates and have other fees that may raise the total cost of your procedure. But by using credit cards, you can spread out your payments. And, your credit card may offer points for each dollar you spend. Think about earning that trip to Paris earlier than you planned (you will look good there, too!). Be sure you know your maximum limit on your card to ensure it can fully cover your procedure.
3. Patient finance loans

Patient finance loans are another way to pay for your cosmetic surgery.
We do not offer in-house financing to our patients, but there are plastic surgery financing companies we are associated with and we'll be happy to provide you with a list.
Paying the loan back over time can help you work your surgery into your personal finances.
We recommend the loan processing company, Med Loan Finance.com or Care Credit.com
Just remember to consider that all costs associated with using someone else's money (credit card or loan) will be paid by you.
These costs include interest fees and sometimes processing or origination fees.
4. Insurance
Sometimes insurance will cover part of a cosmetic surgery procedure if it is found to be medically necessary. Our office staff will clearly explain all charges and will be happy to work with you and your insurance company.
